Paris-based trading software provider GL Trade unveiled a new component of its market data suite at the TradeTech conference in Paris last week. The offering, MarketMap Plus, introduces new trading functionality to the company's MarketMap terminal, including financial calculators, improved decision-support tools and around-the-clock market monitoring. MarketMap Plus also provides access to new data sources such as fixed-income ratings, corporate actions and economic indicators.
"MarketMap Plus sits on the same platform as MarketMap, but offers increased content and new functional features," said Robert Jeanbart, global head of information services at GL Trade. "Clients can now have one GL Trade market data solution serving all users, but offering different sets of functionality and data. In this way they can smoothly manage deployment, continue to have a tight grip on costs and capitalize on an environment they are familiar with." Also available are MarketMap Web, which can be accessed from any desktop, and a PDA version--MarketMap Mobile.
