Epam Systems, a Lawrenceville, N.J.-based software outsourcing provider with operations and delivery centers across Eastern Europe, has extended its financial services offerings with the recent purchase of FIX vendor and technology consultancy B2Bits.
Through the acquisition, Epam, which has European headquarters in Budapest and 600 engineers doing work for financial firms, has formed a Capital Markets Competency Center, leveraging the two companies' strengths and bolstering its position in a turbulent time for the industry.
